I have been using Twitterrific since I first got started using Twitter and I have been pleased ever since. I have not seen the need to explore other Twitter apps because this one works the best, in my humble opinion. The way this app looks is definitely what sets it apart from any other Twitter app. The color schemes were I liked the incoming “tweet” sound that this app made when receiving all the initial tweets, and I found that this app loaded tweets fairly quickly.
Users are able to use multiple Twitter accounts and also view what Twitter users are up to in the vicinity. I found it very simple to navigate between multiple Twitter accounts, view the current trends, or search for something because all these features were located on one page. Every feature is extremely user-friendly and straightforward. When clicking on my own Twitter profile, I could view a history of my tweets, as well as those who had tweeted me. Messages were easy to send and view with this app. Posting a new tweet was great with this app because I had many different options to shorten URLS, compress the text into the 140 character limit, as well as add photos, update my twitter location and map links.
It would be great that if you clicked on a tweet, you could be redirected to that user’s profile. I find myself often wanting to read a user’s previous tweets but cannot access their profile. Hopefully they can add this feature in their next update. I do like the fact that tweets are color-coded, for example when I post a tweet it is highlighted in green. This feature just adds to the visual appeal of Twitterific.
All in all, this is the one Twitter app I find worth downloading. It has all the necessary features you need to keep updated with the Twitter world combined with a great design and great functionality.

A Day in the Life of an Average Apple Iphone User
It can be difficult to imagine how a single device like the Apple iPhone can radically change your lifestyle, until you are introduced into your virtual future self.
Fast forward a year into the near future…
Ring, ring, it’s early in the morning and your favorite song is blaring from your Apple iPhone.
You pick it up and the iPhone’s sensors detect your touch and the screen lights up, showing you the time.
As you rise up from bed, you step into the bathroom to get read, and you set your playlist to play your favorite tunes as you get ready for work.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it — right? We know countless reviews of the iPhone 3GS may begin with that cliché, but there’s little chance you’d find a better way to describe the strategy that Apple has just put into play with its latest smartphone. In many ways, the 3GS is a mirror image of the iPhone 3G; externally there’s no difference. It’s inside where all the changes have happened, with Apple issuing a beefed-up CPU, new internal compass, larger capacities for storage, and improved optics for its camera. More to the point, the release of the 3GS coincides with the launch of iPhone OS 3.0, a major jump from previous versions of the system software featuring highly sought after features like cut, copy, and paste, stereo Bluetooth, MMS, tethering, video recording, landscape keyboard options for more applications, and an iPhone version of Spotlight. At a glance, what Apple seems to be doing is less a reinvention of the wheel and more like retreading the wheel it’s already got (and what a wheel, right?). So, do the iPhone 3GS and OS 3.0 tweak the details in just the right places, or has Apple gone and gotten lazy on us? Read on to find out.Hardware
As we said in the intro, there is nothing visually different about the iPhone 3GS versus the iPhone 3G, save for the lettering on the back, which is now mirrored like the Apple logo. While we had seen leaked images of a matte finish, bezel-free version of the device, when push came to shove, what we got was essentially a carbon copy of the iPhone 3G. In terms of the general elements of the phone — the plastic casing, mute switch, home and power buttons, etc. — there is no change at all. In fact, if you were to lay this phone and its predecessor next to one another face up, the new model would be indistinguishable. Of course, the 3GS is not just a clone of the previous device, and Apple has made most of its significant changes inside the phone.
Internals
First off, the company has supercharged the CPU of the 3GS (remember, the S is for speed), jacking up the processor numbers from 412MHz to a rumored 600MHz. Additionally, the RAM is said to have doubled from 128MB to 256MB, the phone is offered with 16GB or 32GB of storage, and Apple has swapped out the previous graphics chip for a new version — dubbed the PowerVR SGX — which adds support for more robust visuals via OpenGL ES 2.0. All this should mean that end users will see a noticeable difference in app speeds and loading times (Apple claims an average of 2x faster loads, though since the company has been cagey about upgrade details, it’s hard to know what the real differences are).
So, do the revamped insides equal an improved experience on the phone? Kinda.
For our oft-used phone actions — flicking through homescreens, calling up search terms in Spotlight, scrolling through long lists — we definitely felt like the 3GS was snappier than its predecessor. It wasn’t like the doors were flying off, but there was a noticeable bump in speed, particularly when it came to initial data loads (how quickly you see content pop up within an application). When it came to opening apps which pull lots of that kind of content, like Contacts, Calendar, or Messaging, we saw an even more noticeable improvement. Comparing the 3G and 3GS side-by-side yielded small but absolutely palpable differences — the 3GS does seem to eliminate quite a few of the hangs we find maddening as we go through our day. It’s not the perfect salve, but it’s a start.
We’re excited by the cranked up CPU, but in our experience you’ll see lowered load times (though obviously not as drastic) if you take a standard 3G and do a full restore, so there is the lingering question of whether or not the jacked-up feel of the 3GS will last, or will begin to bog down after months of use and heaps of data.

Now that Palm Pre Plus phone has been revealed, the question everyone is asking is how it does compare to the other current top smartphones on the market? Moreover, is it worth switching to Palm Pre Plus from your current device? Now, I have narrowed down my choices to Palm Pre Plus and iPhone 3G S and I’ve had a really tough time choosing between the two:
Display
Palm Pre Plus features a 3.1-inch multitouch screen with 24-bit color. Measuring 100.5mm (H) X 59.5mm (W) X 16.95mm (D), the phone offers 320×480 pixel screen resolution.
On the other hand, iPhone 3G S comes with 3.5-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen display with also 320 x 480 pixels. The phone measures 115.5 x 62 x 12.3 mm.
Operating system
iPhone’s current model runs on iPhone 3.1 OS. The phone is powered by ARM Cortex A8 processor. Among key features, the upgraded software now lets users cut, copy & paste, a sorely missed feature in the iPhone 2.0. iPhone 3.0 also offers multimedia messaging capability with the new 3.0 software allowing users to send each other photographs from the phone.
Palm Pre Plus run on Palm webOS Platform around web-based information, which is where so much of your life resides. Palm webOS helps you stay connected to all of it, so you don’t miss a thing.
Battery life
Apple claims that iPhone 3G S supports up to 12 hours of talk time, 30 hours of audio, 9 hours of Wi-Fi, 10 hours on video playback, and 5 hours of 3G talk time.
According to Palm website, Pro Plus will offer talk time of up to 5.5 hours and standby time of 350 hours. But it is not released video time and audio time.

And the third-gen iPhone packs a 3 megapixel camera with video capturing, auto-focus mechanism and editing capabilities. The earlier two versions shipped with only a 2 megapixel camera each. And it also has multimedia player, but supports: MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, M4V&MP4, etc video formats and MP3, AAC, AIFF, WAV, VBR &Apple lossless, etc audio formats.

Let’s talk performance. The short version is that the iPhone 3GS still renders web pages slightly faster and can load 3D games faster – but it can’t multitask more than Apple’s core apps. The iPhone 3GS edges out the Palm Pre Plus on both the Browser speed test and loading up Need for Speed Undercover. The iPhone also, incidentally, blows the doors off webOS when it comes to the number and quality of available games. But the Palm Pre Plus did some door-blowing of its own – you’re able to pause the game and pick up right where you left off because of the card multitasking system.
